How much less should I eat?

No matter how much diet control I do, the weight seems coming back…

I’ve heard that running is best for weight loss…

Should I start?

Sounds familiar?

Well, then today let’s tackle the subject of running for weight loss.

Below you will find all the required resources that will put your mind to rest.

And for the record…Running does help with weight loss…

But how? How much should you run? How soon you can see results?

Put your mind to rest and read on…

Yes, well sort of. Running can be a very effective tool for losing weight.

It raises your heart rate in a short interval and at a moderate pace can help you to lose around 350 calories for men and 300 calories for women.

But is running the quickest way to lose weight?

It depends on a lot of factors which I’ve explained in detail in the above article.

Also, in that article, you will find all the answers to questions like:

  • How long should I run to lose weight?
  • Is it better to run in the morning or evening for weight loss?
  • How long should I run to lose on a treadmill?
  • How much should I run a week to lose weight?

When I started to run to shed some extra pounds, a lot of questions came to my mind.

For some, I got answers and for some, I did not.

So, I collected all my questions and answers and created the below article.

I hope that you will find the answers that you are looking for – “Learning To Jog To Lose Weight? (40+ FAQs Answered)”.

This brings us to the next question, is running a mile a day enough cardio? can you lose weight?

If you are just starting to run, then in most cases running a mile a day is enough.

That way you will be running around 3-4 miles per week. Which is good enough.

It will keep your heart in tip-top condition and you will enjoy all the health benefits of running.

But since you are looking for losing weight, is it possible with this much of running?

This is tricky to answer and you can find the complete answer it the above article.

Along with that, you will also get answers to a lot of related questions like:

  • How does it improve heart health?
  • Will more running improve your heart health further?
  • Can you lose weight by running a mile a day?
  • What are the other benefits of running a mile a day? and some more related questions…

Is Running 4 miles a Day Healthy?

What do you think?

Running 4 miles a day takes a lot of effort and can easily turn against you.

Then what should you do?

For starters, go ahead and read the above article.

You will find answers to all your questions like:

  • Will running 4 miles a day burn fat?
  • How much weight will I lose, if I run 4 miles a day daily?
  • How many calories needed for running 4 miles a day?
  • Is running 4 miles once a day the same for your body as running 2 miles twice a day?
  • What are the risks of running 4 miles a day daily? and more…

Is running 10 miles a day too much? Wow! now that is something.

When we are trying to lose weight, we tend to leave no stones unturned.

Or at least I’m guilty of that.

And as we know running can be a very effective tool to lose weight.

But if you start running 10 miles a day, will you be overstretching yourself?

  • Are there any benefits of running 10 miles a day?
  • How much weight can you lose running 10 miles a day?
  • How to recover from running 10 miles a day?

Then how to get back into running after gaining weight?

Well, there is no simple answer to that.

Something which worked for me was to take help from a friend of mine.

In the beginning, all you are looking for is consistency.

After that, you can define a goal based on the calorie-chart provided above and get working. (Ahem! running)

Some of us (me included) are self-conscious to run outside in the beginning.

We are shit scared about our next-door neighbor getting a sneak peek of how awkward we are at running.

So, we skip running altogether…

But what if there is an alternative… Try the treadmill…

You can buy one, (they are not cheap) or you can join the gym for a month and pop up there when nobody is around.

If you are consistent with it, you will start to see results. But will you lose weight fast?

I’ve answered that in detail in this article –  “How to lose weight fast using a treadmill?” along with a step-by-step plan.

Is Running On A Treadmill Easier? How to make it effective?

For me, yes. For you? Maybe.

The logic behind it is, the treadmill belt helps you with your leg movement involuntarily.

So, it is somewhat easier.

But if it is easier, when will it be effective?

It may not be as effective, but there are ways to do that which I’ll not repeat here.

If you want to find out how to make a treadmill running session more effective, then read the above article.

Why you are running?

If you are a beginner, then most probably you want to lose weight.

And what is the first thing that comes to mind for weight loss?

Our (read: my) huge rounded belly which we (read: I) have developed over the years, due to unhealthy lifestyle and food habits.

So my first question was, can running reduce belly fat?

What do you think?

Sometimes, we get lazy or are pressed for time.

Sometimes just going out of the door seems like a chore.

We want to run or at least don’t want to skip our routine.

What do we do?

Start running in place.

Gradually our heart rate increases and we start to feel that we are doing a legitimate workout.

Till now it is fine and then we are hit by the question – Is running in place good? Can I lose weight?

Not only the people who are not active will have a weight gain.

People who are fit tend to gain weight during the holidays.

It is hard to resist those treats which are available only during that time of the year.

However, if we can eat sensibly, we will be able to control it to some extent.

Here are 9 strategies of how to eat healthy during the holidays?

But what if, after that also you gain weight?

Can’t help…s%^t happens…

The only thing we can do is to fight it off.
